KOHLER, Wis. – October 24, 2012 – Kohler® Engines has introduced gear reductions options, some including a clutch, on select models of the 7, 9.5, and 14 horsepower Command PRO Horizontal engines. The new options are expected to be popular among end-users in the lawn and landscape, construction and agriculture markets seeking a powerful engine with reduced revolutions per minute (RPM) speed while increasing torque.
The new options will be available in first quarter 2013 on the following engine models:

CH270 2:1 with clutch 7hp
CH270 2:1 7hp
CH395 2:1 with clutch 9.5hp
CH395 6:1 9.5hp
CH440 2:1 with clutch 14hp
CH440 6:1 14hp
